Returns Policy

Returns & Exchanges:

We will accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the date you received your order. If more than 30 days have passed since you received your order and you want to check if you can still return or exchange items, please call us at 252-255-5515 or email us at sales@themysticjewel.com with your request.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Gift Cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shipping Returns Back To Us:

1) Please include a copy of your invoice or order summary along with a note as to your preference, Return or Exchange.

  • If sending items back for an exchange, please include the SKU # of the item you want as a replacement. You can find the SKU # on the product details page of each item.

2) Make sure your items are in original condition and are packaged in the original jewelry boxes you received them in.


3) It is your choice of how to send the package back to us but the most important thing to remember is to package the jewelry so that it will not be damaged during shipping. Pad the inside of all boxes with tissue so that items in the boxes (earrings for example) will not bang into each other during shipping, possibly causing damage to the products. If you can hear the jewelry moving around in the box when you shake it, then it needs to have more padding in the box.


4) You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or exchanging your items.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5) Exchanges will incur extra shipping charges to ship the replacement items to you.

  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

6) You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item so it is best if you have a tracking # or insurance in case the shipping service you used misplaces your package. We suggest using the USPS 1st Class Mail in a bubble mailer (envelope padded with bubble wrap on the inside, available at post office for around $1) or USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box (available for free at post office) to send returns or exchanges. USPS 1st Class Mail is typically around $4 and Priority Mail is typically around $8.

Refunds (if applicable):

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and also to notify you of the approval of and issue of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.


Exchanges (if applicable):

  • Exchanges will incur a $4 shipping fee for USPS 1st Class Mail shipping of your replacement item back to you.
  • Once we receive the items you are sending back we will process your exchange and contact you via email when the replacement items ship out.
  • *If WE OWE YOU any difference in cost of the exchanged item after return shipping has been removed, a refund will be processed to your credit card or original method of payment.
  • **If YOU OWE US extra cost for the replacement item (i.e. the new item you want is more $$ than the item you are returning) or for shipping the replacement item out to you, we will contact you via email or phone to discuss payment options.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts:

  • If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will have the options to either have us apply a refund to the person who placed the order, or you can opt to receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, either a refund will be issued to the person who paid for the order, or a gift certificate will be mailed to you (depending on which option you choose).
  • If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, please have them give us a call at 252-255-5515 to decide if they would prefer a refund or a gift card for the return.
